Neelakurinji Flower in Chikkamagaluru


Most of the Nature lover are waiting for this season from last 12 years to see the amazing and beautiful Neelakurinji flower in Chikkamagaluru, western ghats.  This will be happen in every 12 years between August to November months.  This year we have expected more Flower,  which is attracts thousand of the people in and around the India.  Last in 2006 blooming is happened i was enjoy with my friends, Whole hill was fully covered with Neelakurinji Flower in blue color, Hills look like carpet spread over the hill in Blue color flower and purple.

I went to Chikkamagaluru to enjoy the beauty of Blue color follower called Neelakuranji in Mullayanagiri and Seethalayana giri, but Got big disappointed, as I was waiting from last 12 years for this season. There was no such growth of the Flower in the mountains it was skipped this year, I was expected more than previous visit in 2006, but it was not happen to us.  Even every tourist got the same disappointment who wish to enjoy the nature.   Only few mountains have kurinji flower.  The Flowering was not grown properly, plants look dull in this time, so there was no interest and happy to see.

Chikkamagaluru attracting more tourist for his nature, Hill station like Mulayanagiri, Seethayana giri, Dattatraya Peetha etc, surrounded with coffee plantation in Chikkamagaluru.  Every one like place, people are very gentlemen and helping nature.

Accommodations: There are many Hotels, Home stays, Resorts etc, to stay in the Hill stations.

Food :  Very Good food is available in these places.

Transports : You can go with Government   Bus, Own Car, and Train etc.

Distance : from Bangalore is around 240km Via Hassan is the best route.
